About Our Service
Medical Prescription Services Ltd provides private medical screening, electronic private prescribing where clinically appropriate, and medicines supplied under Patient Group Directions (PGDs). Every request is individually assessed by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. Treatment will only be provided where it is safe and clinically appropriate.

Your Responsibilities
Provide accurate medical information, advise us of changes to your health or medicines, use medicines only as prescribed, and report any side effects promptly.
How the Service Works
1. Complete a medical questionnaire.
2. A pharmacist/pharmacy technician reviews your information.
3. Additional information may be requested if required.
4. If clinically appropriate, a prescription or PGD supply is authorised.
5. If treatment is not appropriate, we will explain why and may recommend that you consult your GP or another healthcare professional.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
We comply with UK data protection legislation. Your information is held securely, accessed only by authorised staff involved in your care, and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may request access to your personal information.
GP Communication
With your consent, we encourage you to inform your GP of any treatment received so your medical record remains complete. You may choose whether your GP is informed unless there is an overriding legal or safety obligation.
Equality and Accessibility
We are committed to providing services fairly and without discrimination. This guide is available in alternative formats on request.
Feedback and Complaints
We welcome feedback to help improve our service. If you are dissatisfied, please contact the Managing Director. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and provide a full response within 20 working days where possible. If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA).

The Medical Prescription Services Ltd (MPS) service operates within the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and Royal Pharmaceutical Society & Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA regulations and guidelines and you will be required to register as an authorised user of the MPS service.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
MPS request that customers carefully read our terms and conditions (“Terms”) prior to the use of this service and prior to ordering the medication (the “Products”) listed. Our Terms govern our relationship with you in relation to this service and your order of Products from it to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.
If you have any questions about the Terms or do not wish to accept them, please contact us. Please note that you may have other rights granted to you by law in addition to those set out in these Terms, which we may not exclude. These Terms do not affect those other rights granted by law.
To register with MPS, you need to be over 16 years of age.
You agree to inform us immediately of any change to the information (medical and personal) you provide when updating your personal details.
The ordering of any Products and the access and use of this service indicates and signifies the user’s/customer’s acceptance of these Terms. All users/customers represent that he or she has read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms. He or she also agrees: (a) that his or her use of the service and the order of Products is subject to all applicable international, national and local laws,(b) not to use the service and/or to order the Products for any illegal purposes, (c) not to interfere with or disrupt the service, (d) that the correct use of any Products supplied is his or her responsibility, (e) that he or she is at least 16 years old, and (f) if applying on behalf of someone under the age of 16 years of age, that you are the parent or legal guardian of that person, and
that he or she shall only use the website and order the Products as set forth in the Terms.
CHANGES TO TERMS
MPS reserves all rights to adjust or modify the Terms, therefore a user/customer should continue to review the Terms whenever accessing or using the service. It is reasonably assumed that a user/customer’s access or use of the service after the posting of adjustments or modifications to these Terms will constitute such user/customer’s acceptance of the Terms, as modified or adjusted. Refusal by a user/customer to accept the Terms may result in the facility of the use of the service and/or ordering of the Products being withdrawn from the user/customer.
PROVIDING YOUR MEDICAL INFORMATION
By accessing or using the service, the user/customer is confirming that any medical information provided by them is true and accurate and that sufficient information has been provided by MPS to allow you to make an informed decision as to the suitability of this service to your situation.
Any incomplete or false information could be harmful to the user/customer’s health. MPS and our pharmacy partners shall rely on the information that is provided in the medical questionnaire in order to determine whether or not the user/customer is suitable to receive the requested medication. MPS and our pharmacy partners shall not be responsible or liable to the user/customer in any way or to any other parties as a result of any incomplete or false information that has been provided to it.
By using our service you confirm that you shall not create more than one application. You consent to MPS contacting you by your preferred method of communication (e.g. telephone/e-mail/SMS) as indicated on your account as necessary, to confirm any medical or personal information given.
By using our service, the user/customer declares that any medication prescribed will only be used as prescribed for the purposes as prescribed and it will only be used by the person for whom it is prescribed.
The user/customer accepts that although specific medication is likely to lessen the symptoms for which it is purchased, its effectiveness cannot be guaranteed.
USE OF PRODUCT
You must read all Product packaging and the ‘Package Leaflet: Information for the user’ prior to using the Product. Please contact your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure about how you should use the Product. If you contact your pharmacist regarding how to take your medication, you agree to wait until you have received a response from your pharmacist before you start taking the medication in question. By using this service, you agree to inform your pharmacist immediately of any side effects you may experience and allow your pharmacist the opportunity to advise on these side effects/monitor the effect of any medication given.
INFORMING YOUR GENERAL PRACTITIONER
By using our service, you confirm that information has been provided by MPS and your pharmacist for you to give to your General Practitioner, to inform him/her of your participation in our screening and prescription service. As per Care Quality Commission and RQIA guidelines, the decision to inform your GP of your treatment is yours; MPS and your pharmacist do not normally have any contact with your General Practitioner unless there is a legal or overriding patient safety concern.
DATA
MPS will ensure that all reasonable precautions are taken to keep the details of your order and payment details secure. MPS cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you unless it is proved that MPS has been negligent in the handling of this sensitive information.
PRIVACY POLICY
MPS does not disclose customers’ or users’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party. You should be aware that information captured will be viewed by our medical and pharmacy team.

LIABILITY
These Terms do not exclude our liability (if any) to you for personal injury or death resulting from our negligence, fraud, or any matter which it would be illegal for us to exclude or to attempt to exclude our liability. MPS are only liable to you for losses which you suffer as a result of a breach of these Terms by us. MPS are not responsible to you for any losses which you may incur which were not a foreseeable consequence of MPS breaching these Terms, for example if you and we could not have contemplated those losses before or when we enter into a Contract. MPS’s liability to you shall not in any circumstances include any business losses that you may incur, including but not limited to lost data, lost profits or business interruption. MPS Ltd disclaims any liability resulting from the provision of services by third party providers. Liability shall rest with the appropriate third-party provider and shall not under any circumstances be deemed to rest with Medical Prescription Services.
To the fullest extent permissible by law, MPS will not be held responsible for any information that is inadvertently omitted from this service or for any errors that are inadvertently included within the MPS service provision.
RETURNS POLICY
If there is an error in dispensing your medication and you receive the incorrect medication/dosage, please return this immediately (in the packaging) to your pharmacy and it will be replaced. The user/customer accepts that although specific medication is likely to lessen the symptoms for which it is purchased, its effectiveness cannot be guaranteed.

HOW TO COMPLAIN
If your complaint is in relation to the service you have received from the pharmacy or pharmacist, please address your complaint directly to the pharmacy superintendent.

Our policy is to acknowledge any complaints within 2 working days of receipt and respond fully within 20 working days.
